In my coachings, I see it again and again: so much potential, growth and development is not used because we avoid uncomfortable conversations.
We want harmony, we want to keep things smooth… but in doing so, we often miss the chance to grow, learn, connect and lead our teams effectively.
-> Soccer-Field-Method®-Prompt see below.
My perspective is: uncomfortable conversations are part of leadership.
And they can actually feel comfortable -> if we have the right tools.
🧰 That’s what my Toolbox for Leaders and the Soccer-Field-Methode®️ are made for.
They give you simple, structured ways to talk about what really matters — on eye level, authentically, and respectfully.
We need words and courage to create openness.
That’s how we build trust, strengthen relationships, and make teams, and companies, truly future-ready. Because clear communication is what creates resilience, trust, and long-term success.
I recommend leadership coaching sessions — even just six sessions can create lasting impact. They help you find clarity, calm, and courage in moments that matter most.
And yes: AI can help with that too.
Used consciously, it can be your sparring partner for reflection and growth.
🎯 Try it in three situations:
1️⃣ When you feel stuck with a question and need a sparring partner.
2️⃣ When emotions are high: feedback, performance issues, or a frustrating email.
3️⃣ When you want to role play and prepare for a difficult talk.
IMPORTANT for AI use:
⚠️ No sensitive data.
🧠 Always filter what you put in and out.
💭 Critical thinking is key, you are responsible and in the driver seat.
Here’s the Soccer-Field-Methode®️ Prompt you can just copy and paste into MS Copilot, Gemini or ChatGPT (for private use):
“Hey Copilot, I want you to coach me on leadership challenges using the Soccer Field Method®. Assume you have never heard of this method before. Here’s how it works: Step 1 – Self-Leadership: First, coach me to pause, reflect, and clarify what I’m feeling, what the issue is, and what I need from the other person. Step 2 – Communication at Eye Level: Then, guide me in expressing my needs clearly, listening deeply, and engaging the other person in a solution-focused way. Step 3 – Awareness of Impact: Finally, help me consider how my words and actions affect trust and relationships, and ensure I lead in a way that builds accountability and respect. Coach me slowly and step by step, asking only one question at a time, guiding me through my thoughts and responses, until we find the best solution. Now, I’ll share my leadership challenge. Guide me through these three steps carefully, question by question, to reach the best solution.”
